As a full-service agency, we offer a comprehensive array of risk management products and services to protect the assets of our clients and their families. The Miller Group is the 10th largest privately held brokerage firm in the Kansas City area. This past year, we were honored to be named:

The Miller Group, founded in 1961 by Bob Miller, started out in the construction industry with both commercial insurance and surety bonding. The agency soon became one of the top brokers in the Midwest. Twenty-five years ago, its focus expanded to include work with community service providers. Since then, we have added employee benefits to the mix, which now represents more than 50% of the agency's revenues. Our client list includes local, regional and national accounts, and customers with one location to as many as 1,000+ locations nationwide.
The Miller Group is headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, and is licensed in all 50 states across the country. Currently we employe about 57 people in our office.
In the 1950s, a Korean War veteran, Robert E. Miller, came home to Kansas City to start his own company. The late Bob Miller didn’t just start a business, he founded a community. Guided by a strong set of values and business ethics, he established a company that not only focused on the needs of the client, but focused on the needs of his employees and the company’s civic responsibilities. After 50 years, these values still guide everything we do. It is was makes our company unique. Our values are:
