USI Northwest Overview

Founded in 1912, USI’s Portland office (formerly Campbell, Galt & Newlands) has been offering clients throughout the Pacific Northwest—and beyond—thoughtful, strategic insurance brokerage and consulting solutions for more than 100 years. The Portland office joined the USI family in 1995 as a wholly owned subsidiary, becoming one of the firm’s earliest strategic acquisitions.

Our Oregon offices (Portland and Eugene) employee benefits division is home to more than 43 industry professionals. All of our employee benefits employees are full-time and in-house and we do not subcontract or outsource. Within the Northwest region, USI employs approx. 500 associates, in all lines of our business.

Founded in 1972 as Kibble & Prentice, USI’s Seattle office began as a small, local firm offering life insurance and estate and business succession planning, as well as private client services. Since then, we’ve grown into one of the largest full-service brokerage firms in the Pacific Northwest. In 2006, Kibble & Prentice also became a wholly owned subsidiary of USI. Our downtown Seattle office also serves as USI’s Northwest regional headquarters and is home to over 350 industry specialists and professionals.
